The Dye Trak® microspheres provide a non-radioactive method of measuring regional
blood flow. These
precision, highly uniform spheres are quantified by spectrophotometry.
Each 20 ml. bottle contains 60 million spheres, 15 micron in diameter, in a saline
solution, 0.05%Tween 80 and
0.01% Thimerosal as a bacteriostat. Dye-Trak is also available in
2ml and 10ml packaging with 6 million and 30 million microspheres respectively.
